Orange FOOD Week 2020

Orange FOOD Week - March 2020

It’s that time of year again - we’re only weeks away from this year’s Orange F.O.O.D Week.

Orange F.O.O.D Week (Food of Orange District) is Australia’s longest running regional food festival and has been acclaimed as one of Australia’s top ten food festivals. The clue is in the name... it's held in Orange, the cool-climate wine capital of Australia... this year it’s from Friday 27 March to Sunday 5 April.

Quite simply... you'd be a mug to miss it - so just get yourself here.  You can be assured it will be one of the most enjoyable experiences you’ll have... one you will dine out on for years.  Between this and the Orange Wine festival, you'll have the dinner party circuit nailed for the next year at least - the go-to person for advice on what interesting and exciting events to attend. You may not be prepared for the celebrity - but you can work on that.

It all started in 1991 by a group of passionate local foodies and vignerons and has grown incredibly since then, to the point where it was recently named one of the state’s premium events by Destination NSW.

There's so much to do it's crazy - that hardest part will be trying to decide between workshops, classes, events... but the one that everyone wants to go to is Forage, which this year on Saturday 4th April.

"What's Forage..." you may well ask - just imagine spending most of the late morning till evening, taking a lazy stroll through the vines, stopping every so often to taste more incredible wine and partake in amazing food from one of the regions best eateries... and there's plenty.  That's the easy part - the challenge is ensuring the enjoyment factor doesn't go right off the dial!!

To find out more, check out the Orange Food Week program. You can fill each day with activity, or just chill out and enjoy the buzz in the town.

Whatever you do… don’t procrastinate - events fill fast! Orange during FOOD Week - it’s THE ONLY place to be!
